Get a reminder before you leave

In our Android and iPhone apps, your phone tells you when to leave, even with the app closed.

1. In the app on your phone, open the menu (☰), then tap Settings.

2. Scroll to Reminders to leave, and read what it does.

3. Tap Turn on.

4. When your phone asks, allow notifications.

   The card now says On for this phone.

5. Under How early, pick how long before you leave: 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours.

6. Under Morning summary, pick 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM, or switch it off.

What you'll see

A reminder says when to leave, the team, its start and the place. Tap it to open that day at the event.

Home offers it once, too, under Get a reminder before you leave.

When reminders come

• Before each time to leave, as early as you picked. It starts at 1 hour.
• Driving yourself? It says when to leave. Someone else? It says who leaves, and when. Nobody yet? It says so.
• At least 30 minutes at home between two events? It's for leaving home again.
• Straight from one event to the next? It never comes during the first, so it may come 15 minutes before you leave.
• Added an event late? A reminder still comes 15 minutes before you leave.
• The morning summary lists the day's events and who drives, on days with something on.
• Day starts before your summary time? It comes at 8:00 PM the evening before.
• Changed things after its time? It still comes right away, if the day hasn't started.
• A place not on the map yet? The reminder comes 1 hour earlier, and says when to be there.

How it works

Your phone makes the reminders itself, from the schedule TwoGames+ has on it, so they come even without signal. While the app is using your location, your next drive today is timed from where the phone is.

Each phone has its own reminders. Turn them on on each one.

Each time you open TwoGames+, your phone gets changes others made and sets reminders up to 14 days ahead.

Not getting reminders?

• Does the card say Blocked on this phone? Tap Open phone settings, and allow notifications for TwoGames+.
• On Android, does the card say they may come late? Tap Allow on-time reminders, and switch it on.
• Check that Focus, Do Not Disturb or battery saver isn't keeping them quiet.

Our terms say:

It can come late, or not at all: when the phone is off, when its notifications, Focus or Do Not Disturb keep it quiet, when it saves battery, or when someone has changed the schedule on another phone since. Read more in our terms

Turn it off

In Settings, tap Turn off. Signing out turns reminders off too, and clears them from your phone.

Never read, tap or type in TwoGames+ while you're driving. Pull over first, or let a passenger do it. Read more in our terms
