Which games come first

When two games clash, so the drive doesn't fit, or two things overlap, one of them has to go. We suggest the one lower on your list. The list is on Teams, under Which games come first.

Who can do this: the owner, the one person in charge. Everyone else sees the list, and who can change it.

1. Tap Teams at the bottom, or on the left on a tablet or computer. Find Which games come first.

2. Tap Add a team or league and pick a team. A whole league, the league or club it plays in, is offered once two of your teams play in it.

3. Add the others that matter. Use the arrows to move a row up or down: the top row matters most.

4. To take one off, tap the X on its row. Reset to the usual order clears the list, and asks first.

What it changes

On a day that doesn't work, the line under the date says Our pick: the one change we'd make. If a game has to be skipped, to take it off everyone's day, it's the one lower on your list. Everything not on the list comes after it.

A practice always goes before a game. And we try the other fixes first: handing a game to another adult, or a few minutes less before it.

With nothing ranked, or two games the list doesn't tell apart, we ask which game to skip instead. Fix a day that doesn't work shows the day's page.

After two skips

Say you skip one team's game for another's a second time. The day's page then asks if you'd like to rank the team you kept first. Tap Put … first to add it to your list, or No thanks.

We only ask the owner, and only if your list doesn't already rank the two. If your list is full, we say so instead.

How many you can rank

Depends on your plan The card says how many your plan ranks. If a smaller plan leaves your list too long, nothing is deleted. You can move or remove rows, but not add, until it fits.
