The short version
By making an account or using TwoGames+, you agree to these terms. What we do with your household's data is in the privacy notice.
- TwoGames+ is for adults in the United States to plan their own household's games and practices.
- The Rookie plan costs nothing. Paid plans add players, teams, schedule reads, more live traffic checks, team calendars checked for changes and a ranking of which games come first, and the Captain plan also times drives from where you are. Every plan checks every day for conflicts.
- A paid plan renews until you cancel. Cancelling keeps it to the end of the period you paid for. Payments aren't refunded, except where these terms or the law say so. A plan bought through Apple in our iPhone app is Apple's to refund, and one bought through Google Play in our Android app is Google Play's.
- If your plan ends or gets smaller, nothing you have added is deleted. You just can't add more until you're within the plan.
- Leave-by times, drive times, live traffic, times worked out from where your phone is, and schedules read from a picture or a calendar link are estimates, and can be wrong. Check before you rely on them.
- Never use TwoGames+ while you're driving. A leave-by time is never a reason to hurry.
- A reminder to leave, in our Android and iPhone apps, comes from your phone, and can come late or not at all.
- We provide TwoGames+ as it is, and limit what we're liable for (see Limits on our liability).
- Your household's Owner can delete it at any time, with its schedule and its people, and you can delete your own account in the app at any time. The privacy notice says what stays, and for how long.
Who we are
TwoGames+ is run by Snapstice LLC ("we"), a limited liability company based in Massachusetts, USA. Questions about these terms go to support@twogamesplus.com.
TwoGames+ is a trademark of Snapstice LLC.
Using TwoGames+
- Accounts are for adults in the United States: you must be 18 or older, and old enough to make a contract where you live. TwoGames+ is made for adults with more than one team to get to, such as parents, guardians and the people who drive their children to games, adults who play on teams of their own, college athletes, and coaches. Children don't sign up.
- A household is the schedule of one home, its Home base, though someone in it may drive from an address of their own. Use it for your own household, not to run a team's, a league's or a club's schedule for other people, or for a business, and don't sell or rent access to it. A coach can add the team they coach, to plan their own driving, but not the team's players, unless they drive them. Anyone who shares the household signs in with an account of their own, by an invitation from its Owner. A household has one Owner: whoever made it, until they hand it to someone else in it. The Owner chooses whether each person is an Editor, who can change the schedule, or a Viewer, who sees it and changes only their own things. The Owner can remove anyone else who signs in, but not in their first 7 days after joining, counted in whole days in the household's time zone. Anyone but the Owner can leave at any time.
- Add only people you're allowed to: yourself, your own children, children whose parent or guardian has said you may, to plan driving them, and adults who agree to be on your schedule. You're responsible for what you add, and for who you invite. Only people who sign in drive, and each adds the address they drive from themselves: invite anyone who drives. Someone you add who doesn't sign in, an add-on, takes part in your games and practices, and never drives.
- Only import schedules you are allowed to use, and nothing that isn't a schedule. The same goes for a team's calendar link you keep. On the plans that check team calendars for changes, keeping one asks us to read that calendar again for you, as the privacy notice says.
- What you add stays yours, and you let us keep and use it as the privacy notice says.
- TwoGames+, its name and its software are ours. You may use it as these terms allow, but not copy it, sell it or pull data from it by machine. If you send us ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
- You sign in with a code or a link sent to your email, or with Google or Apple where the sign-in page offers it, so anyone who can read your email, or use your Google or Apple account, can sign in as you. Keep them secure, and write to support@twogamesplus.com at once if you think someone else has signed in as you.
- Turn on location only on a phone you carry yourself, never on anyone else's.
- Don't try to reach another household's data, get around a plan's limits, or put more load on the service than one household's own use would.
Driving safely
- Never read, tap or type in TwoGames+ while you're driving. Pull over first, or let a passenger do it.
- A reminder to leave that comes while you're driving can wait until you've stopped.
- Obey traffic laws, and drive for the road and the weather. A leave-by time, a countdown or a tight day is never a reason to speed or take a risk.
- You, the driver, decide when to leave, which way to go, and whether a drive is safe. TwoGames+ only estimates.
- TwoGames+ uses a phone's location only where the person who carries it turns it on, only while TwoGames+ is open on that phone showing today, on a day they drive, and only for their own timeline and reminders to leave, on that phone. It isn't a way to know where anyone else is. With it on, the timeline follows you by itself, so there's nothing you need to tap or read on the way.
- TwoGames+ is not for emergencies, and it doesn't watch over anyone. It isn't a way to supervise children or to know where a child is, and naming who drives to a game doesn't make sure they do. In an emergency, call 911.
Plans
Every household is on one of these plans:
- Rookie (free)
- 1 player and 2 teams. 2 people who sign in. 3 schedule reads to start. Live traffic checked at most once for each drive. Your timeline follows where your phone is, if you turn it on.
- Starter
- 2 players and 4 teams. 2 people who sign in. 8 schedule reads a month. Live traffic checked up to 3 times for each drive. Team calendars checked for changes when you open the app. Rank 2 teams or leagues, and we suggest which game to skip. Your timeline follows where your phone is, if you turn it on.
- Captain
- 4 players and 8 teams. 4 people who sign in. Unlimited schedule reads. Live traffic checked on every Refresh, up to every 5 minutes. Team calendars checked for changes when you open the app. Rank 4 teams or leagues, and we suggest which game to skip. Your timeline follows where your phone is, if you turn it on. Drive times from where you are.
- A player is anyone on one of your teams, adult or child, including a coach on the team they coach. People who are on no team, such as someone who only drives, never count.
- Every team counts, whether or not anyone in your household plays on it.
- People who sign in are the household's own adults, each with their own account, the Owner, Editors and Viewers alike. Invitations still waiting count too. An add-on, someone you add who doesn't sign in, never counts here. If someone leaves in their first 7 days after joining, their place still counts until those 7 days are up.
- A schedule read is one picture or PDF our reader reads for you. It counts only when something is read off it: a page nothing could be read from costs nothing. Monthly reads start again at midnight Eastern time on the first of each month. A read's games can be saved only in the household that read the page, within a day of reading it.
- A live traffic check asks the map how long a drive takes with the traffic on the road at that moment. A drive can be checked from 90 minutes before you leave for it, or from when the drive before it is due to arrive if that is later, until you're due to arrive. The first check can happen by itself from 30 minutes before you leave for it, while TwoGames+ is open and showing that day, or earlier if you tap Check traffic, and each Refresh after it is another check. On the Captain plan, opening TwoGames+ on that day within those 30 minutes, or coming back to it, also checks again a drive you can Refresh whose last check is more than 10 minutes old, unless location on your phone shows you're already on the road. Checks are your household's, not each person's: a check any of you makes counts for all of you. A drive's checks are counted one way between two places, for 6 hours from the first of them, so another drive the same way within those hours shares them, and changing an event's time doesn't give a drive more. A check that can't reach the map doesn't count. A Refresh within 5 minutes of a drive's last check shows that check again, and doesn't count either.
- On every plan, if you turn it on, your timeline follows where your phone is, which is worked out on the phone. The Captain plan also times the drive from where you are when you're somewhere the app doesn't know and you've allowed it in Settings, which sends the phone's position, rounded, to our server and Azure Maps, as the privacy notice says.
- On the plans that say so, a team calendar link you keep is checked for changes when the Owner or an Editor opens TwoGames+, as often as the privacy notice says. The bell tells you when it changed, and nothing on your schedule changes until someone reviews it. A club's calendar can be a day behind its own app, and a check can miss a change or fail, so check your club's schedule before you rely on it.
- A plan covers one household home, its Home base. Households whose Home base is the same place share one plan's players, teams and schedule reads, so the people at one home share one household rather than making one each. A household reads a schedule, from a picture or a calendar link, or adds a second team only once its Home base has been found on the map.
- Checking your days for conflicts, tight drives and when to leave is on every plan, and no plan limits it.
- On every plan, our Android and iPhone apps can remind you on your phone before each time to leave on your schedule, whoever drives, if you turn it on.
We may give a household a paid plan without charge, for a time or with no end. When a complimentary plan has an end, the Household page shows it, and the household is on the free Rookie plan from then on.
Fair use of unlimited reads
The Captain plan's reads are unlimited for one household reading its own schedules. A household that reads 50 schedules in a calendar month has read far more than any household's season needs, so we stop reading new schedules for it until the next month. Everything already read stays. If you need more, write to support@twogamesplus.com and we'll sort it out.
When a plan ends or gets smaller
Nothing is deleted. A household with more players or teams than its plan allows keeps every one of them, with their games, practices and decisions, and can still see, change and remove them. Until it is within the plan it can't add a player or a team, or read a new schedule, from a picture or a calendar link. Taking a player off a team or removing a team gets it there, and so does moving to a plan with more.
Paying for a plan
- A household's Owner buys a paid plan on the Household page, paying monthly or yearly. On our website, payments are taken by Stripe, our payment processor; your payment details go to Stripe and never reach us. The price is shown before you pay, and sales tax is added where the law requires it.
- In our iPhone app, the Owner buys a paid plan through Apple instead, at Apple's price, which the app shows before you buy. Apple takes the payment from the Apple Account the Owner buys with, and Apple's own terms apply to it as well as these. Apple, not we, handles its billing: only that Apple Account can switch or cancel the plan, with Manage subscription on the Household page in our iPhone app, or in the iPhone's Settings, then their name, then Subscriptions. Apple charges each renewal in the 24 hours before it, so to stop the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the plan renews. Moving to a bigger plan, or from monthly to yearly, takes effect at once; moving to a smaller plan, or from yearly to monthly, at the next renewal, at that plan's price then. If a renewal payment fails, Apple tries again, and the plan stays for as long as Apple allows while it does. Refunds are Apple's to give, under its rules. A plan bought through Apple stays with the Apple Account that bought it: deleting the household or your account, leaving the household or handing it over doesn't cancel it, and Apple goes on charging that account until it's cancelled.
- When the Owner buys a paid plan in our Android app, they buy it through Google Play instead, at Google Play's price, which the app shows before they buy. Google Play takes the payment from the Google Account the Owner buys with, and Google Play's own terms apply to it as well as these. Google Play, not we, handles its billing. A plan bought through Google Play is switched with the buttons on the plans on the Household page in our Android app, on a phone signed in to that Google Account: moving to a bigger plan, or from monthly to yearly, takes effect at once, and Google Play charges the difference for the rest of the period, or, from monthly to yearly, the year's price, with the days left of the month added to the year; moving to a smaller plan, or from yearly to monthly, takes effect at the next renewal, at that plan's price then. That Google Account cancels the plan with Manage in Google Play on the Household page in our Android app, or in the Google Play Store, under Payments and subscriptions. Google Play charges each renewal on the day the plan renews, so to stop the next charge, cancel before that day. If a renewal payment fails, Google Play tries again, and the plan stays for as long as Google Play allows while it does. Refunds are Google Play's to give, under its rules. A plan bought through Google Play stays with the Google Account that bought it: leaving the household or handing it over doesn't cancel it, and Google Play goes on charging that account until it's cancelled. Deleting that person's account, or the household, cancels it, as said below.
- A plan is paid for in advance and renews automatically at the end of each month or year, charging the payment method on file, until it is cancelled.
- We email whoever pays for a plan: the Owner for a plan bought on our website, and whoever bought it for a plan bought in our iPhone or Android app. We email them when the plan is bought or changed, saying what renews, at what price, how often, and how to cancel; before a yearly plan renews, about 35 and 25 days ahead; for a monthly plan, once a year, about 35 days before each year since it started; and for a monthly plan bought in our iPhone or Android app, after each charge, saying what was charged. Apple and Google Play also send their own receipts.
- The Owner can cancel at any time with Manage billing on the Household page, or by emailing support@twogamesplus.com from the Owner's email address. The plan stays until the end of the period already paid for, then the household is on the free Rookie plan, and nothing is deleted (see When a plan ends). A plan bought through Apple is cancelled with Apple instead, and one bought through Google Play in Google Play, as said above, and then the same is true of it.
- Payments are not refunded, in full or in part, including for the rest of a period after cancelling, except where the law requires a refund or these terms say otherwise.
- On our website, moving to a bigger plan, or from monthly to yearly, takes effect at once, and you pay the difference for the rest of the period then. Moving to a smaller plan also takes effect at once, and the unused part of what you paid becomes credit toward your next payments, not a refund.
- If a renewal payment on our website fails, Stripe tries the payment method on file again over the following days, and the plan stays meanwhile. If the payment still can't be taken, the plan ends.
- Deleting the household cancels a plan bought on our website at once, without a refund. It also stops a plan bought through Google Play renewing, without a refund from us.
- Deleting your account deletes the household with it when you're the only one in it, or when you're its Owner and choose to delete it for everyone, and a plan bought on our website is then cancelled at once, without a refund. When you're its Owner and give the household to someone else in it instead, a plan bought on our website stops renewing, stays until the end of the period already paid for, and the payment method on file is removed. A plan bought through Apple is changed by neither, as said above. A plan you bought through Google Play stops renewing as your account is deleted, whatever becomes of the household, without a refund from us; and one someone else in the household bought there stops renewing too when the household is deleted with your account.
- When we offer a price for a limited time, we say when the offer ends. A yearly plan bought, or switched to, at a limited-time price renews at that same price for as long as it stays yearly on the same plan, even after the offer ends.
- If we change the price your household pays for its plan in any other way, we'll email the household's Owner 30 days before it applies, with how to cancel. A new price applies from the next renewal after that, and you can cancel before then. If you're charged a higher price you didn't agree to on our website, you can also cancel within 14 days of that charge, and we'll refund the unused part. For a plan bought through Apple or Google Play, Apple or Google Play also tells whoever pays for it of a new price before it applies, asks for their agreement where its rules say so, and handles any refund.
What we can't promise
- Leave-by times, drive times, and whether a day fits (Fits, Tight or Conflict) are estimates. They're worked out from the times on your schedule, the timing settings in the app, such as how early to arrive, and drive times from a map, or estimated from the distance where the map has none. Any of those can be wrong or out of date.
- Drive times come from maps and traffic. A road can be closed, or a drive take longer than it ever has.
- Live traffic is the road at the moment it was checked, and it can change within minutes. A check can fail or come late, and the drive then shows what it did before: an earlier check, or its usual time.
- Where your phone says it is can be imprecise, late or unavailable, and a drive timed from it is the road at the moment it was checked. When the phone can't say where it is, your times go back to the plan, or to the drive's last live traffic check.
- A reminder to leave comes from your phone, worked out from your schedule as TwoGames+ last loaded it there and, with location on, from where the phone was while TwoGames+ was last open on it. It can come late, or not at all: when the phone is off, when its notifications, Focus or Do Not Disturb keep it quiet, when it saves battery, or when someone has changed the schedule on another phone since. The time to leave in it is an estimate, like any other.
- Schedules read from a picture or a team's calendar link can be misread, which is why you check every row before it is saved. Leagues change their schedules, too, and a club's calendar can be behind its own app: the league's own schedule is the one that counts.
- Directions, and a venue's map, open the maps app you choose, such as Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, which aren't ours.
- A fix we suggest for a day or a weekend, our pick included, is a suggestion worked out from your schedule, your settings and your ranking. You decide whether it suits your family. Before you hand someone a drive, check that they can take it.
- You decide whether to rely on what TwoGames+ shows. Leave extra time, and check the league's schedule and the road yourself.
No warranties
We work to keep TwoGames+ running and your data safe, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond what these terms say, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, and we don't promise that TwoGames+ will always be available or free of mistakes.
Where the law doesn't allow a warranty to be excluded, it lasts only as long as the law requires.
Limits on our liability
You use TwoGames+ at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for what follows from relying on it: a late arrival, a missed game or practice, a fee, a fine or a ticket, or an accident, injury or damage on the way to or from anything on your schedule.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, time or data, even if we were told they could happen.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims about TwoGames+ or these terms is no more than the greater of what your household paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and US$50.
If you misuse TwoGames+
If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law, or added, imported or kept something you had no right to, such as a team's calendar link, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, legal fees included, to the extent the law allows.
Services run by others
TwoGames+ relies on services run by other companies, the ones the privacy notice names. Microsoft runs our website, server and database, the maps and drive times, the emails we send, the model that reads pictures, and our mailbox. Supabase handles signing in, and Google, or Apple in our iPhone app, does too if you choose to sign in with it. Stripe takes payments on our website, Apple in our iPhone app, and Google Play in our Android app. Cloudflare runs our domain's DNS, passes emails you send us on to our mailbox, and checks that a person, not a program, asks for each sign-in code. Directions opens the maps app you choose, such as Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze. A team's calendar link is on a website run by whoever runs your team's app or calendar.
We aren't responsible for those services' outages or mistakes, and where you use one directly, such as Google's or Apple's sign-in, Stripe's checkout, a maps app or your team's app, its own terms apply too.
Ending
You can stop using TwoGames+ at any time, and delete your account in the app whenever you like. Your household's Owner can delete the household from the Household page. The privacy notice says what each of these deletes, and how to have everything deleted by email instead. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why when we can.
If we stop offering TwoGames+, we'll email each household's Owner at least 30 days before, and refund the unused part of any period paid for on our website. If we close an account for any reason other than breaking these terms, we refund that unused part too. A plan bought through Apple is cancelled with Apple and refunded by Apple, as said above, so in either case we'll also tell whoever pays for one to cancel it. A plan bought through Google Play we cancel at Google Play ourselves, and Google Play handles any refund, under its rules.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law, and any dispute about them is for the state or federal courts in Massachusetts.
Before bringing a claim, please write to support@twogamesplus.com and give us 30 days to put it right. To the extent the law allows, a claim about TwoGames+ or these terms has to be brought within one year of when it arose. This doesn't shorten the time a consumer protection law gives you, such as the four years Massachusetts gives for a claim under Chapter 93A.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right the consumer protection law where you live gives you.
The rest
- These terms, the privacy notice, and the price shown when you pay are the whole agreement between you and us about TwoGames+.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies, and that part applies as far as it can.
- If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We can transfer them to a company that takes over TwoGames+, and they go on applying there.
- We aren't responsible for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at a provider, a power cut or a storm.
- We send notices to the email address an account signs in with, or show them in the app.
- What these terms say about warranties, limits on liability, misuse and the law goes on applying after you stop using TwoGames+.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. If a change matters to what you get or pay, or to your rights, we'll also email each household's Owner and say so in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law, or keeping TwoGames+ safe, needs it sooner.
A change applies from the date at the top, or from a later date we've given for it, in the app or by email. If you keep using TwoGames+ after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, stop using it, and cancel any paid plan before it renews.
